The architecturally designed building overlooks the D'entrecasteaux Channel and the mountains beyond. It houses a Café, special purpose room with Wood Fired oven and space for cooking classes. There is also a separate Gallery (Art Untamed) and the original Hall.
Apart from a meeting place for the locals, this Venue has catered for a diverse range of events. Special Celebrations, Weddings, Music Concerts, and much more.
It is situated in peaceful surroundings very close to Nebraska Beach
The small menu of handmade food has a strong focus on fresh, local seasonal produce
In keeping with the natural environment, any waste generated goes to compost, worm farms and recycle stations
You are welcome to call in for a visit. Sit on the deck and enjoy a glass of wine or coffee and cake (or by the fire if it is cold outside)! However, as a remote venue where all food is freshly produced, it is essential to know if you are coming for breakfast or lunch. So please book ahead as early as you can.

Our Philosophy
To minimise waste, there is a strong focus on sustainability.
The roof holds 60 solar panels, there are tanks for rainwater harvesting, provision for food composting and worm farms and a small kitchen garden.
To source as much local produce as possible, we have some great gardeners who supply some of the delicious produce we use in the kitchen.
To reduce food miles.
To support the local community & small producers.
